Seth Fields is a trial attorney representing people who have been hurt through no fault of their own. His clients are people whose injuries have been caused by all manner of personal injury matters including motor vehicle, slip/trip and fall, wrongful death, intentional tort, construction accidents and medical negligence.

Mr. Fields began the practice of law as a clerk for Supreme Court Justice Ira B. Warshawsky and Federal Court Justice Arthur D. Spatt. In his first year in private practice, he obtained a verdict of $1.2 million against the New York City Transit Authority for his client who had been involved in a motor vehicle accident, sustaining a herniated disc which did not require surgery. In the years that followed, he has obtained verdicts of nearly $4.5 million for his client who was struck in the rear by a commercial vehicle; $2 million for a delivery man struck by a passing motorist as he unloaded his box truck, and $2.25 million against an auto repair shop which negligently repaired the plaintiff’s vehicle which then became disabled on the highway and was struck by a drunk driver. Most recently, he recovered a wrongful death verdict of $7.5 million for the family of a victim fatally burned in a fire against the landlord who failed to install smoke detectors in his apartment.

Mr. Fields has been honored by the New York Law Journal for obtaining a Top 100 Verdict for the State of New York for two consecutive years and has served as a guest speaker to his colleagues on the subjects of trial advocacy and jury selection. Mr. Fields’ philosophy is that the success of a case is based on its being managed properly from the first day an attorney is retained.
