The compensation for that is real: because the threshold in Insurance Law § 5102(d) exists as the trade-off for no-fault benefits, riders are not held to it and can pursue pain and suffering directly.

    answered by scene measurements, downed-bike geometry and helmet damage, documented before the vehicles are released.
