Injury cases in Forest Hills

Forest Hills generates more search for an injury lawyer than any other neighbourhood in Queens outside the airports, and it is a five-minute drive from our Kew Gardens office. The cases come from the two very different streets that define it: Queens Boulevard, a twelve-lane arterial that earned the name "Boulevard of Death" and still produces the borough's most severe collisions and pedestrian strikes, and Austin Street, a dense retail spine with constant foot traffic, delivery vehicles and double parking.
  1. 01

The 71st Avenue–Continental Avenue station is one of the busiest transfer points in the borough, and station stairs, platform gaps and escalators generate their own steady stream of claims — all of which are claims against the Transit Authority, requiring a Notice of Claim within 90 days.

  2. 02

Most of the neighbourhood's housing is apartment buildings and co-ops, so premises cases here are lobby, stairwell and courtyard falls, where the question is whether the managing agent knew about the condition and how long it had been there.

No complaints at all. Everything went according to what they said and I’m thankful for their representation.

If there was more than 5 stars Seth Fields and his associates would get them all. Mr. FIelds went to trial with a jury in Suffolk Cty Riverhead Supreme Ct & won w/ a verdict in minutes for 100% Liability. The defense worked with Mr. FIelds in a settlement before the damages trial began. I would stop here searching any further & contact Seth Fields if you want a Smart, Attainable for your questions, concerns, Empathetic to your needs but a Bull Dog with your case, then you found your attorney.I can’t thank you enough for all your long hours, weekends, holidays that you put into 7 yrs of all my medical, motions, hearings & trial etc. WE WON! You did it and obtained a large settlement that I couldn’t be more happy after this long tough journey. I would refer everyone to you that has a case that needs fighting for. 🙏

The most amazing, professional and knowledgeable with great communicators with injury law, and I highly recommend that there is no reason for second and third opinions on procuring a law firm with their experience and know how. They are second to none. My time was precious, and they respected every minute of it. Thank you!

I was hit crossing Queens Boulevard.
The vehicle's no-fault coverage generally pays your medical bills and part of your lost wages regardless of fault, on a 30-day deadline. Crossing outside a crosswalk does not end the claim; under comparative fault it reduces the share.
I fell on the stairs at the 71st Avenue station.
That is a claim against the New York City Transit Authority, with a 90-day Notice of Claim requirement. Station camera coverage is extensive but retained only for a limited period, so the preservation demand has to go out fast.
How close is your office?
About five minutes — 80-02 Kew Gardens Road, across from the Queens County courthouse.
