Injury cases in Jericho

Jericho is office-park Long Island: low-rise corporate buildings set back behind landscaped parking, clustered where Jericho Turnpike meets Route 106/107 and the Long Island Expressway at Exit 40. The traffic is commuter and commercial rather than residential, and it peaks hard twice a day.
  1. 01

That produces a distinctive case mix.

Collisions concentrate at the LIE service-road merges and the turnpike's left-turn crossings. Premises claims come from parking lots and structures, lobbies and stairwells — cases in which the owner and the property manager are separate defendants with separate insurers and separate maintenance contracts, and in which winter ice turns on who held the plowing contract and what it required. Where the injured person was working at the time, the comp claim and a third-party case against the property owner run together.

Nassau cases are filed in Mineola, ten minutes west.

No complaints at all. Everything went according to what they said and I’m thankful for their representation.

If there was more than 5 stars Seth Fields and his associates would get them all. Mr. FIelds went to trial with a jury in Suffolk Cty Riverhead Supreme Ct & won w/ a verdict in minutes for 100% Liability. The defense worked with Mr. FIelds in a settlement before the damages trial began. I would stop here searching any further & contact Seth Fields if you want a Smart, Attainable for your questions, concerns, Empathetic to your needs but a Bull Dog with your case, then you found your attorney.I can’t thank you enough for all your long hours, weekends, holidays that you put into 7 yrs of all my medical, motions, hearings & trial etc. WE WON! You did it and obtained a large settlement that I couldn’t be more happy after this long tough journey. I would refer everyone to you that has a case that needs fighting for. 🙏

The most amazing, professional and knowledgeable with great communicators with injury law, and I highly recommend that there is no reason for second and third opinions on procuring a law firm with their experience and know how. They are second to none. My time was precious, and they respected every minute of it. Thank you!

I slipped on ice in an office park lot.
The owner, the managing agent and the snow-removal contractor may all be responsible, and their contract usually defines what should have been done and when. New York also allows a reasonable period after a storm ends before the duty to clear attaches, so the timing of the storm matters.
It happened at work. Is comp all I have?
Not necessarily. Comp pays treatment and part of your wages but nothing for pain and suffering. If the property owner, a contractor or another driver contributed, that is a separate lawsuit alongside the comp claim.
Where would my case be filed?
Nassau County Supreme Court in Mineola.
